Math.Biz 2025

Math.Biz aims to showcase a unique aspect of Mathematics not typically taught in schools. The program incorporates principles from finance, economics, business, and management and connects them to high school level mathematical concepts.

Math.Biz operates differently from traditional educational systems by shifting the emphasis from grades to real world learning. The program encourages students to take intellectual risks and explore new ideas, and nurtures critical thinking and inquiry. Instead of just learning mathematical concepts in a vacuum, students are encouraged to question their relevance and applicability in real-world fields like economics, finance, accounting, and operations management. This unique approach provides students with a deeper understanding of both mathematics and finance, a rare combination at the high school level.

Campers feedback

Coming from a science background, I never had the chance to explore finance or economics, though I’ve always been interested. This camp gave me that opportunity.

I initially expected it to be easier, but it was deeply finance-driven with a strong mathematical foundation, making learning engaging. The faculty and teaching assistants were incredibly supportive—adjusting their pace based on our needs and encouraging us to think critically rather than just providing answers. I’m leaving with valuable insights and topics to explore further.
