** Answer** At every congruent side, the two triangles can be joined in two ways. There are three sides in each triangle which are congruent to three sides of the other triangle.
2 x 3 = 6.
Hence there are six shapes that can be formed.
The shapes will be 2 isosceles triangles, a kite, two parallelograms, a rectangle
If it's an isosceles right triangle, then the there are two shapes that can be formed by joining the bases and one shape by joining the hypotenuse.
Again 2*3/2!
